Expanded Clay Pebbles 10–20 mm

Product description

Fired, porous clay granules in a 10–20 mm fraction. Keramzyt creates a stable, airy layer that lets excess water drain away from the roots, and it does not break down over time, so you can wash it and reuse it.

Applications

• Drainage layer in pots and planters
• Decorative top layer that slows surface drying
• Raising humidity on a pebble tray under houseplants
• Drainage in balcony boxes, raised beds and terrace containers

How to use

1. Make sure the pot has drainage holes.
2. Pour a layer of keramzyt into the bottom — usually about 1/5 of the pot height (2–10 cm).
3. Add the growing mix on top and plant as usual.
4. Rinse used granules before reusing them.
