How to use the result
The calculator uses a general guideline of 1–2 g of dry hydrogel per litre of mix. Always follow the dosage on your product label — it takes precedence.
Mix hydrogel in dry, evenly through the root zone at planting. Too much can keep the mix too wet.
Hydrogel evens out moisture between waterings; it does not replace watering and is not suitable for plants that prefer dry conditions.
